ISC-RAM Is the First International Society Focused on Cancer Risk Assessment and Management

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Dec 3, 2012) - The International Society for Cancer Risk Assessment and Management (ISC-RAM) is the first international, collaborative, multidisciplinary group whose mission is to advance the field of cancer risk assessment and promote effective strategies for education, surveillance, and cancer risk reduction. The first founders meeting took place on September 23-24th and was sponsored by Atossa Genetics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ATOS). The Co-Presidents and Medical Directors are Banu Arun, M.D. from University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center and Freya Schnabel, M.D. from New York University (NYU) Langone Medical Center. The Executive Director is Jennifer Chun Kim, MPH from NYU Langone Medical Center. 

The inaugural steering committee meeting of ISC-RAM will convene on December 6, 2012, during the 2012 CTRC-AACR San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, which takes place December 4-8, 2012. This meeting is sponsored by Atossa Genetics, Inc., Myriad Genetics, and Cianna Medical.
